Willie Mae Thornton dite Big Mama Thornton (11 décembre 1926 à Montgomery ou Ariton (Alabama) - 25 juillet 1984 à Los Angeles) est une chanteuse américaine de blues et de rhythm and blues, précurseur du rock 'n' roll. Elle est surtout connue pour avoir interprété la chanson « Hound Dog », popularisée ensuite par Elvis Presley.
